Weed Shield kills and prevents weeds from forming without harming grass and without harsh ingredients. Weed Shield contains a Botanical Oil Blend that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has exempted from being registered as a pesticide. Directions for Use:
Use as a spot treatment for weeds. Ensure thorough wetting and complete coverage on all unwanted vegetation. For best results, apply to weeds during early periods of growth, during warm, dry weather. Do not apply during windy conditions. The speed at which this product works is impacted by climate conditions.
Ingredients:
Eugenol Oil, Clove Oil, Soybean Flour Urea, Cottonseed Meal, Potassium Humate and Potassium Acetate Soap
Mode of Action:
Proteins and oils contained in Weed Shield break down the cell wall causing the weed to desiccate and die.
Visible signs of weed death begin one week after the initial application, complete death usually occurs within 2 weeks.
Apply to only actively Growing Weeds.
For hard to control weeds a second application may be needed 7-10 days after initial treatment.
